in other words the shadow and the object are comming up as a black box from the script and the box is showing up in the render.... can someone help me please.....thanx.
Im not sure about anything your talking about here. But i know if you want something to be transparent on an object in mcm2 it has to be the same pink thats used on skins. Open up a skin, get the color and use that color for the plain and the shadow should show up like its meant to.
yea thats not the problem i think it something wrong with the script that td eviro scripter wrote
did you install the max shadow plugin? its available herehttp://www.jeffhamblin.com/mcm2files/utils/script/ShadowPlugins.zip
so you have been able to create the shadow? and its real dark?
Which version of 3ds max are you using? and what "renderer" type?
nevermind i got it.... i knew i was doing it right because its similar to objects shadows...i still dont know why it started working i just reloaded it about 5 times and it worked.....i was using 3d max 3.1
